G story

Four child actresses have teamed up to form a new girl group called, Girl Story. Comprised of members Yoon Jung (10), Hye In (9), Yuri (10), and Chae Young (8), these girls rocked a successful debut stage on December 18th’s ” Y-Star’s Live Power Music“.
Girl Story sang their debut title track, “Pinky Pinky” (which came with a very cute choreography), and got to share the stage with sunbae singers like T-ara, SISTAR, Younha and more.
Y-Star’s Lee Dong Suk PD said, “They didn’t get nervous like real child actresses, and did well. After two rehearsals, they quickly adjusted to the stage. The audience liked them too.”
Their recorded performance will be aired on the 26th and they will begin full promotions when their album “G-Story” is released on the 28th. If you think GP Basic is the youngest girl group, afraid not.

2PM

2PM is a South Korean boy band, originally a seven-member group, but currently consisting of six members[1] due to the sudden contract termination of leader Jaebeom following an Internet controversy in September 2009. They are managed by JYP Entertainment. The current members are Junsu, Junho, Nichkhun, Taecyeon, Wooyoung and Chansung.
2PM is one of the two subgroups branched out from the eleven-member (before Jaebeom's departure) boy band One Day, the other being 2AM. They debuted with the song "10 Jeom Manjeome 10 Jeom" (10점 만점에 10점, lit. 10 Points Out of 10 Points), which showcased their acrobatic dance styles.[2] They achieved their first No. 1 song with "Again & Again".

2AM

2AM is a popular Korean boy band.2AM is a South Korean four-member ballad boy band under JYP Entertainment. The members are Jinwoon, Jo Kwon, Seulong, and Changmin. 2AM is one of the two subgroups branched out from the eleven-member (before Jaebeom's departure) boy band One Day, the other being 2PM. They officially debuted on July 11, 2008 on KBS's Music Bank, performing their debut song "This Song". They won their first Mutizen at Inkigayo on February 7, 2010 with "Can't Let You Go Even If I Die".

BoA

BoA is a popular female Korean atrist. She sings in Krean mostly besides a few Japanese and English singles, like most Korean atrist. Curently in 2010 BoA is 24 years old. Soon after signing with S.M. Entertainment, BoA entered their intensive training academy where she took her singing and dancing skills to the next level. BoAs vocals became stronger and her hip-hop and pop dancing advanced. By 2000, a 13-year-old BoA was ready, and she released her Korean debut album ID; Peace B which debuted in the top 10 on Korean charts. A slew of successful albums (see accompanying discography below) would follow that release but not before BoA opted to breakout and into something else.

In 2001, BoA moved to Japan. She embraced the challenge of penetrating a totally different music market. Intelligent as she is talented, BoA learned Japanese within two years. She released Listen to My Heart in 2002 which debuted at the very top of the charts and won over her Japanese audience with her pop sensibilities and superior dance skills. She couldnt be stopped.

Throughout the early 2000s, specifically from 2003 to 2006, BoA seamlessly shifted between Korea and Japan releasing several albums. Her second Japanese CD Valenti moved more than 1.2 million units. During this time, BoA also toured in support of her releases bringing her energetic and engaging stage show to the masses. And then BoA came into her late teen years and she was poised for the challenge of transitioning into that young adult phase of her life.

In 2008 the announcement was made that BoA, a triumphant artist in Korea and Japan, would make her American debut in 2009. More than 200 journalists from Japan, China, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and the United States descended upon Korea to hear the tri-lingual, dancing and singing music marvel reveal her imminent plans of focusing on an American music career.

BoAs first full English album, the self-titled gem, features a collection of hip, R&B influenced, pop tunes a unique sound that has become her forte. Her stellar and strong vocals continue to play the front while the production provides the perfect pop backdrop. One listen to BoAs debut single Eat You Up with its aggressive synthesizer ridden instrumental playing under BoAs crisp, clear, and sonically sturdy vocals and theres no question that the victories amassed in Korea and Japan are on the horizon here in the United States.

In fact, the singer hooked up with Atlanta, Georgias go-to super star songwriter and producer Sean Garrett (Usher, Ciara, Chris Brown, Beyonce Knowles, Whitney Houston) for the smash hit I Did It For Love. A contagious, body moving, dance floor, riot inciting, melodic duet, I Did It For Love is a guaranteed night club banger. Also penned and produced by hit record maker extraordinaire Sean Garrett is the aptly titled Energetic. This futuristic sounding tune falls fittingly in the line of dance tracks featured on the album. Its mesmerizing chorus intoxicates the sound waves as BoA's vocals swim in and out of the instrumental. In the same vein, Hypnotic Dancefloor, a sizzling, percussion pushing tune perfectly complements BoA's cosmic and compelling vocals.

But its not just about heating up the night club with BoA. In Obsessed, she candidly and artfully addresses going insane over an individual in the name of love all over a syncopated and pulsating heartbeat paced drum arrangement. And BoAs Scream, with its grand instrumental opening, brings a subtly aggressive charge to the rest of the album, further displaying BoAs powerful vocals as she sings: Scream/theres nobody to hear/it doesnt matter/its only me and you and all of your fears. And of course, it is the hubris and harmony of the boastful Look Whos Talking with its provocative lyricism and hip winding instrumentation that takes the CD to another level of enjoyment.

Scroll down for BoA music!

The Wonder Girls (Korean: 원더걸스) are a South Korean girl group.[1][2] Their producer and manager is singer-songwriter Park Jin-Young and the Wonder Girls are signed to his talent agency, JYP Entertainment.[2] Each of the five original members were selected through auditions. The group began their entry into the American market in 2009, with lead single "Nobody"; the single became the first song by a Korean group to enter the Billboard Hot 100. They are co-managed in the United States by JYP Entertainment and Jonas Group.[7]

  • Jea (제아) (b. September 18, 1981 (1981-09-18) (age 29)), birth name Kim Hyo Jin (김효진)

  • Miryo (미료) (b. November 2, 1981 (1981-11-02) (age 29)), birth name Jo Mi Hye (조미혜), was also featured in fellow labelmate group Vanilla Lucy as a rapper.[citation needed]

  • Narsha (나르샤) (b. December 29, 1981 (1981-12-29) (age 28)), birth name Park Hyo Jin (박효진), also debuted as a solo artist with her mini-album Narsha released on July 7, 2010.[citation needed]

  • Ga In (가인) (b. September 20, 1987 (1987-09-20) (age 23)), birth name Son Ga In (손가인), also debuted as a solo artist with her mini-album step 2/4 released on October 8, 2010.

  • On July 20, 2009, the Brown Eyed Girls released their third full-length album, the double-disc Sound G. Though "Candy Man" was the first song unveiled from the new album, the first single that was heavily promoted was "Abracadabra".[citation needed] The release of this album also saw a shift in the image of the group, as the members redefined themselves as independent and mature city girls, which is a trend with many K-Pop groups.[citation needed]
The release of the "Abracadabra" music video had sparked a controversy.[citation needed] As the group is sporting a substantially more provocative visual style, criticism has arisen for the suggestive and erotic themes that the video presents.[citation needed] They later released a stage version of the song that is just the dance. "Abracadabra" was composed by Ji-nu and Min-Soo Lee. Ji-nu was a famous bassist in the legendary acid-jazz band in Korea, Roller Coaster. After the disband of Roller Coaster, Jinu became a famous DJ regarding electronic music. He composed the first part of "Abracadabra", and tried to compose the refrain part. However, he could not think of a good idea to make the refrain part. Therefore, Min-Soo Lee, who worked with BEG previously, helped and composed the refrain part of "Abracadabra".
The Brown Eyed Girls revealed a repackaged album titled Sign that included a new single, "Sign", along with "Drunk On Sleep" (잠에 취해) and a remix of their previous hit "Abracadabra". The repackaged album was released along with the music video on the 29th.[when?] Brown Eyed Girls' agency, Nega Network, revealed that, "This upcoming music video will be even more shocking and provoking than Abracadabra."[citation needed] The song has been quite successful although not topping their previous single.[citation needed]
Due to their musical success, at least two of members were selected for popular variety shows. Ga-in have been on We Got Married with 2AM's Jo Kwon since September 2009. This couple is known as "Adam Couple" ("Adam" in Korean means small in size.[citation needed] They are known as Adam couple due to their heights)[citation needed] and is one of the most recognized virtual couple in Korea. Narsha has been on Invincible Youth (aka G7) since October 2009. She is known as "Sung In Dol" (Adult Idol) due to her being much older than other members and her funny, but naughty actions in the show.[citation needed] In August 2010, a Japanese-language version of Sound G was released.
